A Hat for my Octopus: Creating a culture of EI for working parents breeds a synergy of success for you and your children

As working parents, we finish our work day and take off (or temporarily set aside) our proverbial “work hat”. However, we’re obligated to replace it with one of our many other hats, and boy do we have a lot of hats! As working parents in today’s age of opportunity we wear so many hats in our relentless pursuit to provide opportunities for success for ourselves and our children.

However, our hats get heavy and can really take a toll on our mind, body, and soul. The stress, exhaustion, anxiety, and even guilt we often feel as working parents can become overwhelming at times. However, the ability to actively shroud yourself and your children in a culture of EI, holds the power to set into motion a catalyst of events that can create synergy between your success a professional and a parent, and the success of your children.
