A “Virtual Dementia Tour” can help you experience what it feels like to have dementia, gaining empathy that stays with you for a lifetime.

Today we are broadcasting live from Summerset Senior Living in Rancho Cordova and sharing first hand the dementia tour, replicating as closely as possible what it is like to have loss of brain function and dementia symptoms. This tour is about changing your perspective on dementia and learning what it feels like to live with not only the physical deterioration associated with dementia, such as pain in your feet and hands, but also the confusion and sense of overwhelm that often comes with loss of normal brain function.

Join Laura Wayman, the Dementia Whisperer, live, along with her Co-host Scott Cluthe, and the amazing team here at Summerset as we share the dementia experience with many of the participants.

Perhaps the most compelling measure of the tour’s effect is the stories that participants tell, tune in as we talk with caregivers and staff before and after they take this impactful eight minute tour.

You don’t want to miss this insightful opportunity to deeply and profoundly understand and share how it “feels” to have dementia symptoms.

This is a live broadcast-we encourage you to call-1-929-477-1393- and join us on the air, or download this podcast and enjoy it later.
