Amy is a 37 year old mother of 2 teenage sons. In 2009, her ex-husband, (father of our boys) was murdered in a triple homicide. She then experienced what professionals refer to as "complicated grief". In lay terms, She lost her mind...for about 5 years. With time, She came to find purpose in the profound loss she had experienced. Being up close and personal with death led her to a spiritual calling to help comfort the dying.  She now works as a hospice nurse and now she is in training to become an End-Of-Life Midwife. She knows that her current work and contributions to humanity could not have existed had she not first encountered great loss. Grief has made her the woman she is today. Her desire to share her unique experience. She  knows there must be others out there like her, who might find comfort and strength in her story. Her intentions are to help others grow through grief.
