If I could turn back time where would I rewind the clock to - and Back to Basics this holiday...

Every time I hear or think of Cher’s song, “If I Could Turn Back Time” I think about what I would do if I could turn time back. I mean every single time I get the same thoughts!! In her song she talks about how she was too strong and too proud to say she was sorry to the man she was with and thought she wouldn’t care if he left. Boy was she wrong! Her song talks about how she’d take back the words that probably hurt him and she was so apologetic about her actions but needless to say it was too late to take them back. You can’t take words back. At the end of the song, she was still apologizing. Then R. Kelly comes along with “If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time.” Another song about being hurt about his own selfish actions; and he realized he was suffering without her and didn’t appreciate the blessing that she really was. In saying all of this, it brings me to ask this question…IF YOU COULD REWIND TIME – WHERE WOULD YOU REWIND THE CLOCK TO (year, specific event, age, grade, etc) AND WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY KNOWING WHAT YOU KNOW NOW? Also, let’s go “Back to Basics!!” Let’s chat about whatever happened to kids asking for dolls and bikes for Christmas instead of one gift costing what parents use to pay for an entire Christmas? Let’s talk about it.
