Why The FED is Lost

Bubba starts the show off in a foul mood. He expresses his disappointment with the Federal Reserve and Janet Yellen. Bubba states that the FED is spineless, lost and doesn’t have a clue at what their next move should be. The FED and the U.S. Government seem to think that they can hide from the problems they created by continuing the flow of the money drug flowing. Bubba shows his disgust by the move stating that the FED has created too many unintended consequences while destroying the middle class.

Jane King stops by for a chat; Bubba asks Jane what her opinion is of the FED action. Jane seems to be a little disturbed by the actions taken and believes that the FED is of course as well. Jane is worried about the economy as she talks about the differences between New York City and the farming community in Indiana where her family is from. Jane talks about the effects of the strong U.S. Dollar and the negative effect it has on her family’s business.

Mike McGlone from ETF Securities, a regular guest on The Bubba Show gets into the FED action. Mike feels the FED did what was necessary to help the economy. His views send Bubba into a tirade as he lashes out at Mike indicating how much disdain he has for the FED. The conversation moves on while Bubba’s blood boils and he reached for his blood pressure medicine. Bubba starts to convince Mike that the FED is on Fantasy Island and swings Mike over to his side.

After cooling down Bubba and Mike discuss the value of precious metals and that everyone should have some ownership of them in their portfolio. They also talk about the new ETF from Zach’s; it’s earnings ETF that replicates earnings from major companies. At the end both Mike and Bubba agree that the ETF known as GLTR that represents all of the metals sounds like a good investment for every portfolio.
