The Buzz...There were things in life we were promised but did not receive delivery on. In sales, the Bait and Switch routine is when someone advertises a product for a dirt cheap price and when you go to claim it, it is "no longer in stock" but you are offered a product that may or may not be comparable but is usually more expensive. You were prepared to buy something that day but what you got was more or less than what you bargained for. The Sting...What things were we tricked into believing was the way to go only to find out later, that ain't the way it is? Two examples are when there was nuclear threat some folks had bomb shelters but others were told to place their heads between their knees, seek shelter under a desk or wear a helmet when it is known none of those techniques would have been effective. What about when you were in class in the 1970s and teachers told you by the year 2000, cars would be flying and we would all be living like the Jetson's? Has that come true for you or anyone you know. If Asian diet and foods are healthy, do Asians eat the food they sell to us in the restaurant? Do white clothes need to be separated from colored clothes when there is now soap that is supposed to be able to avoid dyeing? The Healing...Naivete, age, ignorance, stupidity, all are reasons that folks can be sold on something they might in their own reason know is silly. Let's talk about those times when you knew better but you went with IT anyway.
