Body Brokering in Healthcare – “Kansas” Cafferty

“Kansas” Cafferty, Executive Director of True North Recovery Services in California, explains the problem of “Body Brokering” in the Intervention network.  This is similar to the “cash for kids” issue we Independent Educational Consultants went through several years ago, but as “Kansas” says, is currently rampant in their network.  He talks about the ethical problems with this Finder’s Fee for referrals marketing technique and the growing campaign to oppose it with a number of lawsuits against practitioners and organizing professional groups to oppose it.
