English Defence League Radio Show ~ Remembering 9/11 2001

Welcome to The English Defence League Radio Show with your Host Geoff "Spider" Mitchell and my panelists for this evening are Leslie-Ann Stoffel & Dave "Aggedor" Milner.

Tonight we will be remembering 11th September 2001, a day that started like any other busy day in America.  By the end of that day the world saw a modern marvel destroyed in New York, a nerve center of U.S. defence crippled in Washington and a further attack thwarted through the bravery and self-sacrifice of ordinary citizens.  

When all the pandemonium happened on that fateful day the heroism by firemen, police and first responders swung into action.  In the UK we all wondered what was going to happen to the towers and other attacks taking place.  It was discovered later that 67 British citizens and 16 foreign nationals with close ties to the UK were among the victims of these islamic terror attacks.  The world never imagined the nightmare that unfolded on 9/11.  We pay homage to all the people killed, wounded and missing to this day; women, men and children.  WE REMEMBER.
