Michael Behenna's parents, Vicki and Scott Behenna were joined in Washington, D.C. by Band of Mothers co founder Bev Perlson and other BTR hosts to testify at Michael's clemency hearing. Michael was wrongly convicted of murder he was accused of committing while serving in Iraq when an al queda operative was shot during an escape attempt. Prosecutors withheld exculpatory evidence provided by their own witness and sentenced to 28 years in Leavenworth. He is not alone. We MUST NOT ALLOW THIS KIND OF INJUSTICE TO CONTINUE.
