Living on the ragged edge, we become worn out, stressed out, and eventually we burnout. Stress not only dampens our spirit and frazzles our nerves, but the constant rush of adrenaline overstimulate the heart and weaken the immune system, leaving us more prone to more illness and stress related problems. Suicidal and homicidal thoughts and acts can result from poor stress management and poor coping skills.
