"Marriage, Before and After You Say, I Do"

1 Cor 11:1-3

• Traditional Marriage= 1 man + 1 woman (Lawfully wed)
• Common Law Marriage= Co-habitation of a man + woman for X amount of time.

Eph 1:3-13

In Him (Jesus) we're going to be mindful of what He has said about what marriage is to look like or what commitment is to look like.  ADAM + EVE = The two shall be ONE

Questions: in a relationship, thinking about marriage or in a relationship and having trouble.

1. Did you have parents that taught you courtesy? (People skills...thank you, excuse me)
2. Did your parents provide a loving home and atmosphere for you while you were growing up? 
3. Did your parents show love to you in action or words while you were at home? Correction is a form of love.
4. Did your family pray together, how often?
5. Did your parents ever ask for forgiveness for mistakes they made with you, have you forgiven them?
