Less than a week before one of the biggest, most world changing elections happens we'll be asking, why do people have such dyed in the wool political attitudes and can they be shifted? We'll be talking with Huffington Post contributors; political science professor at the Christian school John Brown University, Frank Niles and Mario Almonte a media expert on to talk about the role of media in politics and whose latest blog is titled - The Debates Don't Matter, The Polls Don't Matter. Obama Will Win the Election. Also on the panel is fan favorite psychotherapist, Christina Steinorth, author of Cue Cards For Life, politcal junkie and registered Republican.

We expect callers will join in and get into the hard hitting conversation.

Some of the things we'll take a closer look at:

Humor in politics and why some people don't get the joke?

Hate and anger that seems so extreme.

Name calling used in media and on social media.

The power of social media and how perhaps media misses its effect on the voting public.

When do people begin to question their belief systems or will they ever?

Insulating self from other opinions by de-friending people with opposing beliefs?

Do people follow blindly?

Facts vs fiction.

Does religion have a place in politics?

Being oblivious to the truth.

Brought to you by the blood, sweat and shifting gears of your hosts for this entertaining attitude shifting hour, Donna M. Butler and Siobhan Shaw.
