Randy Caballero of the United States improved to 22-0 after beating Stuart Hall of Britain in a unanimous decision Saturday to win the vacant IBF bantamweight title.
Ringside judges scored the bout 116-111, 116-111, 118-110 in favor of the 24-year-old Caballero after an aggressive contest where both boxers landed heavy punches. The deal has been signed – unbeaten WBA, IBO and WBC Interim middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28 KOs) of Kazakhstan will fight top-rated Martin Murray (28-1-1, 12 KOs) of the UK in Monte Carlo on February 21.
