Preclude into Stan: A Man Called Christian

The Christian life is a life filled with adventure, confrontation, introspection, exposure, highs, lows, goods, and perceived bads. The realities of 62 yrs of that is one that I feel prompted to share. Throughout my years as a Christian, I have experienced the burdensome effects of C S Lewis The Screwtape Letters and the joys of pure relationship with God at very pointed times in my life.

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
4 What is man that You are mindful of him,
(Psalms 8:3-5)

My personal experience may not so much be the point; on the contrary, that is very much the point! The point is that many of us are not embracing our souls and sharing as testimony the intricacies of our pre and post-Christian life. This book is totally inspired by my belief that there are many who will be absolutely glad that someone is willing to be vulnerable enough to honestly let the public into this marvelously mysterious adventure called Christian life.
