On today's show, Marie interviews Margaret Butler, Komera Executive Director and Founder. Ms. Butler brings a background in teaching, international development and non-profit management to Komera. Margaret spent a year in Rwanda working with Partners In Health and The Clinton Foundation in health-related projects where, in addition, she was naturally drawn towards education-related projects. Margaret founded Komera (formerly the Komera Project) while in Rwanda as she recognized the need to focus on girls’ education. Join us to hear about the ground breaking work of Komera.
