We consume these stories, and repeat them; over and over to other black folk. Then we argue over the details and minutiae of the story or similar stories; but to what end? How long before you understand how racism works? How long before you understand how it is impacting you and your family? When do you decide to spend the same energy into developing a strategy to navigate thru the racism that exists?
