Disrupting Dumbass Democrats, Leftists and Other Fools At SCOTUS Nomination

The Kavanaugh nomination hearing gave the usual Democrat suspects, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and Richard Blumenthal an opportunity to grandstand and raise their profiles at the expense of investigating with fidelity the qualifications of one of the most eminently qualified jurists since Robert Bork, which is another tale of Democrat malfescence.  They repeatedly expressed their desire to delay the hearings until they have had time to examine thousands of newly produced documents concerning Judge kavanaughs past legal work as a member of the Bush Administration.

If that is true, why did they not simply invoke Senate Rule #26?  That would have forced Grassley to immediately shut down the hearigs.  Answer:  They want to GRANDSTAND, posture and virtue signal!!!  They want this issue to run on and rev up their base.
