Davidica Little Spotted Horse and some of the youth from her Independence Through Music program will join us on the show. The wise ones have always said, "The youth are our future, nurture them and they will prosper and all will benefit.  Davidica, who is a singer/songwriter, entertainer and activist, lives on the Pine Ridge Reservation.  She, along with First Nations singer, songwriter, Tracy Bone were recently on the Talking Feather talking about the non-profit program that they started that is designed to engage young people in the art of creating music as well as learning the various business skills that are needed in order to be an informed working artist.  The program is up and running.  There are 17 young artists in the program.  Some of the 17 young musicians have performed their songs and have shared their works on KILI Radio 90.1 FM, a radio station known as the Voice of the Lakota Nation.  The wise ones have always said, " The youth are our future, love and nurture them and they will prosper then the whole community will benefit."  Join us this Wednesday.  Call in, ask your questions and share your thoughts.
