Another "1st" for The Soldiers Family. Today we will be at Monroe Middle School to Honor PFC James Howard Monroe US Army- deployed to Vietnam KIA 1967 United States Army .A dedication of a middle school will be held today to HONOR HIS MEMORY.

PFC James Howard Monroe was serving as a medic with HHC 1/8 Cav, when,on February 16, 1967, in Bong Son, Hoai Nhon Province, South Vietnam, while treating and evacuating other troopers, fell on a grenade so that other soldiers might survive.
