Yvonne Moore of Washington, D.C. got her five minutes of fame the hard way by suing her church for a refund of $250,000 because they started performing gay marriages. According to Moore, her position is biblical and the church has changed, therefore, she wants a refund of estimated donations she has made over the past 37 years. Is she right or wrong? Is she, or is she not the world's worst church lady, as stated by writer Bryan Safi? If you donate to a charity under certain assumptions, do you have the right to withhold your charitable donations or request a refund if they change to a position you do not agree with? If you oppose the killing of animals and a group changes its position, do you have the right to say, I no longer support this particular group, or are you bound to continue in your support to avoid being called a hypocrite or worse, an intolerant, biased person?
