Woe Builder, Woe Rich Men

For more than a year, we have heard the sob stories of housing developers gone bankrupt; the housing market near a flat-line and banks in general losing air were it not for the TARP induced CPR. Houses that once sold for 400,000 are now on the market for half of the initial selling price or lower – and there are predictions that things will worsen. Analysts blame the defaulting mortgage owners for the meltdown. However, complaints of discrimination and gouging in terms of high interest loans for African- Americans and other minorities compared to “others” over-ride any notion that 12% of the population has sent the U.S. into a global crash. That is just not possible. Surprise, surprise, the Bible identifies the culprit as the unrighteous builder!
