JayZ talked about an Empire state of mind, but he's built his on the back of "fiends" as he's called his fans and off negative black exploitation. Of course many would argue this still because his music played as their childhood soundtrack. Is this how blacks are to succeed in media - through black exploitation? Or is it simply art imitating life? For blacks, should there be a level of accountability with the art due to the twisted images white/Jewish America has pushed about blacks???

But anyway, #Empire. we must discuss on this Sunday night's show. What were your first thoughts? Does the black imagery played out on the prime time screen go against the building of the black image? Does the "beef" between Taraji and 50 add insult to injury? Are the concerns about this show even realistic??? What do we know about the shows producer Lee Daniels and the person he's partnered with for this project? We just want some open discussion on this. If you saw the episode of Empire we'd like to hear your thoughts. Share with friends. That's how our voices grow
