Guest, Karen Healey, Animal Communicator, Intuitive Healer My work with animals has been life long – as a volunteer at local animal shelters and wildlife rehabilitation centers, study/graduation/work as a veterinary technician in animal clinics, and life experience with my own menagerie of animals. I’ve now come to know that I’ve been communicating with animals psychically for many years. Studying with my teacher, mentor and animal communicator, Danielle MacKinnon, I launched my business in 2010. I share with and educate others about a deeper animal-human connection. Our animals, living and dead, can communicate important messages and assist us with personal life lessons that help us grow. My interest in energy healing encourages my continual study of healing modalities - Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, T-Touch, Trust Technique, and more. We and our animal companions are energetic beings, and energy provides a profound calming effect as well as supports and enhances healing. I intuit/scan for imbalances or disharmonies (which can manifest as physical, emotional, mental, spiritual issues) in the animal’s aura, chakras, and inside their bodies - muscles, organs, tissues, veins, cells, body systems, etc. - and I channel energy to these areas. Often times, our own physical, emotional, mental and spiritual state is reflected back to us like a mirror by our animal companions. I’ve found this ever more apparent with my involvement and study with canine behavior and natural horsemanship. Our ability to be aware and master our ‘inner’ selves with a calm and relaxed demeanor facilitates a more balanced experience with our animal companions, more effective healing, and improved communication - which foster a deeper connection. My motto is “Healing our animals and ourselves through our connection with them.” In other words, healing our animal companions, heals us.
