On this episode we will speak with TRP mentee and survivor, 16 yo Melvin Farmer aka Unfed the Savage who has channelled his rushes with violence into epic rhythm & rhyme, we will be joined by his mother (Project Faith SAFE's own) Larae Cantley to hear her take on how vicarious trauma plays out in a families experience of tragedy. We will hear two selections from Unfed the Savage's work in progress, the first entitled Spare My Chain, written and performed by Melvin and produced by Levi of Glenn's Basement Studios, and also an untitled freestyle that depicts the shocking expereince Melvin endured on August 8th, 2017.
