Atty. Robert Patillo. If you are unfamiliar with Marissa’s story, she is the lady who

went to jail for firing a warning shot in the direction of her abusive husband.

Under the law at that time, she could have had to serve 60 years in prison! As it

turned out, she only served a few years and she is back with a vengeance to right

the wrongs in our Justice System that almost cost her freedom for the rest of her

life! Atty. Robert Patillo, has been fighting the good fight for social justice in our

court rooms for years and they have teamed up to stop the double standards and

unfair sentencing as it comes to blacks and whites convicted for the same crime.
