"Elevated Minds"

Hip hop hippy to the hippy to the hip hop rock and ya don't stop! A whole genre of music started with these very words, and since has grown into a sociopolitical movement wih a force to be reckoned with. In the beginning many believed this new "young people's music" was just a fad and would soon be out like Disco. However Hip Hop has stood the test of time and has proven time and time again that it is here to stay. Some say that hip hop is dead or is dying. With the controversy surrounding the genre we at Elevated Minds decided to do a month long dedication to the music of a lifestyle. We will start being the historians we are like we do on any other issue with the history of the movement, over the course of the month we will evaluate the use of dance, talk about some of the original rap beefs, battle rapping, etc. We will be counting down our top 10 albums as well as our top MC's of all time you do not want to miss the evaluation of Hip Hop live on Elevated Minds Radio!!!
