Threat levels
This week, I will discuss growing community concerns regarding the appearance of disparate treatment of minorities in the criminal justice system. I will attempt to give guidance to parents to use when talking to your children about avoiding bad situations with their peers by making good choices and avoiding confrontations with the police. I will also talk about the parameters and availability of legal remedies when bad things happen. This will be an insightful discussion that I hope will leave you feeling empowered and encouraged.
