Disappointment can be very hard to get over. It plays on our emotions and our ability to trust. It can make us question our own judgement about how we choose people to be in our lives and whether or not we should let ourselves be chosen. What are we saying when we say that someone never was a real friend, or that someone must have never really loved us, or that they must have been hating on us the whole time? How and why do we sometimes feel like we need to discredit everything about an experience, when the experience turns ugly, or goes bad? What happens when we do that to some physical things that we might be a part of. How would we feel if someone told us that we never really had any money, because we don't have the same amount of money anymore? What if our kids told us that we were never really parents, because they disagree with something that's going on with us now? Some of us actually have to deal with this. Let's talk,
