If you haven't been with anyone who you have really liked, why should it count? It counts just like everything else that you have ever done in life counts. At least that is probably how the really important person in your life might see it. It can cause a disconnect. A rational person doesn't expect anyone to treat themselves like a hermit for years, just because you are not in a committed relationship, but a jealous, possessive, irrational person might expect you to do just that. They might expect you to be totally transparent about what you have been doing before you met them, or got with them. It's a disconnect that should be able to easily be worked out, but sometimes it gets sticky. You may really feel like you have been abstinent if you haven't had sex with anyone who you have liked. You may feel like you have not dated if you haven't been with anyone who you have been serious about. Does this make any sense to you?

That's what we're talking about tonight at 7PM ET on The Daily Gogetemism Show. Check this out:  https://youtu.be/1-__u7IN8yw
