If you ain't got nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all.  Maybe there was a time when this held more weight. I agree that good people with good intentions shouldn't be torn down by negative rumors, or insults, or jealos haters, but there are some people who you might not have anything nice to say about, because of the things that they do. Some of those things might have, or need to be reported. The fact that our elders are the ones that gave us this saying says a lot. It says that sharing negative information is nothing new. People doing dirt is nothing new either. People choosing  who they share negative information about is nothing new either. So when is the best time to something bad about somebody, or when to say nothing? Let's have this talk.
