Harry Chapin was not only a cinematographer, playwright, poet and a great songwriter, he was also an ardent advocate fighting what he saw as the injustices in our society. He was best known as a prolific songwriter, recording artist and performer who played up to 300 concerts a year. Over the years, Harry demonstrated an amazing personal commitment – he gave the proceeds of every other concert to organizations fighting hunger.
