THE WAR-DRUM GROWS LOUDER

For some weeks now, we have discussed the continued Syria-Turkey cross border hostilities as a prelude to a general Middle Eastern war.  Now, NATO is proclaiming that they are "ready to 'help'" Turkey:

Not content to have Turkey bomb Syria all by its lonesome, Israel has now joined the fray, firing into Syrian territory - from the old Syrian territory of the Golan Heights:

The timing of this latest development is very interesting, as the White House hosts an Israeli diplomatic delegation today for talks on this very matter:

CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!

Hot on the heels of the Presidential (s)election, citizens of many states have begun circulating petitions to secede  from the Union.  The Washington Times, along with other news outlets, places the number of states requesting "peaceful" secession from the Union at 23.
