Sermon 83 "Safe in God"

A study of Psalm 5:1-8, I Samuel 23:6-14 and related scriptures on depending upon God for safety and security in this life and in the afterlife. The ephod and casting lots to determine God's will is also touched upon.

Those who trust in God are safe in God,. No matter what is going on around them or inside them, believers in the Lord have victory.

We can have complete confidence that God knows what time it is in our lives. He knows what needs to happen. God knows our inner conflicts, our weaknesses, and our strong points.

David said much in Psalms about how God protected him, but we must associate such affirmations with the sometimes frightening events in David's life.

We will more fully understand God's grace and love by knowing how they are manifested in daily events and freaky situations.

We are blessed with all spiritual blessings. We have faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We have Christ in us, so we are safe in God.
