The Rest Of The Story

 

Many of us remember listening to the Paul Harvey broadcasts called “The Rest of the Story”. These broadcasts began by telling us an interesting, heart-touching story, containing little known facts about a person. Then after the facts were revealed, Paul would go to a break. We were hooked! Millions of listeners would wait…thinking…pondering…who could this person be?  The break would end and Paul Harvey would begin by saying “and now for the rest of the story” At that point he would reveal the name of the famous person he was telling the story about and millions of listeners would simultaneously think “ I didn’t know that!” Mr. Harvey would then sign off with those famous words, “and now you know the rest of the story.
