Uwa Onyioha-Osimiri, PhD, is the Spiritual Head of the Global Faith Ministries of Chiism, president of the African Women Economic Consortium and founder of Chiist Higher Learning Corporation.
Dr. Uwa Onyioha-Osimiri is the President of the Chiist Higher Learning Corporation (CHLC). This organization is the accrediting body for Chiist University, for which she is the founder and Chancellor. It is also the umbrella corporation for Global Faith Ministries of Chiism (GFMC) and the African Women Economic Consortium (AWEC). Dr. Osimiri was an official delegate to the United Nations World Council of Religions for Peace (WCRP) first Africa's Most Senior Religious Leadership Conference on HIV/AIDS and Orphaned Children. It was held in Nairobi Kenya, on June 9-12, 2002. An Ambassador for Peace, she has participated at the International Leadership Conferences sponsored by the Federation for World Peace, in Washington, Hawaii and Virginia. She is instrumental for initiating the Village of Hope, a housing initiative to affect the care of African orphans.
