Chuch: Love is NOT your "little friend"

It is that time of year again! We embark on Valentine's Day and all the propaganda. This one day a year we are supposed to tell and SHOW people how we feel about them. It is the notorious day we find out if we are indeed number 1 or number 4 or 5 in a man's heart. It is the day women offer a little snatch in exchange for Instagram worthy flowers that can now be bought on "afterpay". Nothing is sacred. Nothing is real. They are probably not even the same couples that posed in matching pajamas for Christmas. My Valentine's day gift was custom done and ordered early. It is by an artist in Miami named SOTO OR @SOTO on Instagram. It will be delivered next week. It is an accurate description of what love has been like for ME. The beloved agreed to buy it for me, despite the cost, because it came from HIS heart. My thoughts on why this art was important to me and what kind of love I am in these days. OH and before you listen to the show you MUST understand my stance on love. It is a CHOICE not a feeling. It is NOT unconditional unless it is parent to child. We must STOP having this "struggle love" and staying for a reward that may never come or be reciprocated.
