WORDS-MAKE-PEOPLE: Open Mike Sunday & Battling Terrorism

Join us Sunday November 15, 2015 on the blog talk radio show WORDS-MAKE-PEOPLE for our open mike "General Discussion with Our Listeners." We want to hear what is on their heart and mind on the current events in America and the world including the tragedy in Paris, France.

Join your host Michael Saahir along with co-host Mustaffaa Abdullah from 1-3 p.m. EST as we review the unfolding reports on tragedy in Paris, France this past Friday.

Our hearts go out to the 120-plus victims and their families who are suffering from attacks in Paris. Allah speaks clearly against terrorism in the Holy Qur’an.

IMAM W. DEEN MOHAMMED SAID that war is not allowed to hurt innocent women, children

"If we would ask ourselves, peaceful Muslims or those who have resorted to terrorism any of us no matter how extreme we are, if we would ask ourselves "would Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) kill innocent children, women, men, and elderly people just to get at the enemy?" Would he do that? No we know he wouldn't, the worst of us would say "no, the Prophet (pbuh) wouldn't do that". So we are not allowed to do it then, we can't do what he wouldn't allow himself to do.

I come to join you today in Prayer. Imam Darnell Karim told me that we're going to have Prayer here today so I come to join you in Prayer praying for peace, praying for the souls that have been murdered, and praying also for the victims who are suffering in hospitals and other places and praying for peace for the Palestinians and the Israelis. Because we know that, that's perhaps the situation that's contributing and motivating these people more than anything else to do what they're doing." (Sept 14, 2001)
