LET'S TALK ABOUT THE WAYS THAT BULLIES WRENCH POWER THROUGH PSYCHOLOGICAL VIOLENCE. Let's talk about surviving bullying in the workplace and in politics.
 
Have you been bullied at work? Are you a survivor of bullying? Are you trying to heal from a bout of bullying? Are you trying to understand why the bully targets particular individuals?
 
Lately, news commentators and talk show hosts have been talking about bullying--especially in school, amongst children. Few are talking about the preponderance of bullying in the workplace and in politics. This program is the first in a series on bullying. 
 
What is bullying?
Bullying is persistent unwelcome behavior, mostly using unwarranted or invalid criticism, nit-picking, fault-finding, also exclusion, isolation, being singled out and treated differently, being shouted at, humiliated, excessive monitoring, having verbal and written warnings imposed, and much more. In the workplace, bullying usually focuses on distorted or fabricated allegations of underperformance.
