The current religious system makes it easy for Jezebel to breed some pretty self centered, arrogant non-serving leaders. Yes beloved, there are preachers who are operating in selfish, presumptive, and greedy pride. Oh yes, we have leaders among us who put their desires above God! We have leaders who put their plans in motion instead of putting God's plan in action! We have leaders among us who serve mammon instead of God, and who want the accolades that should only be given to God for themselves.

So, Jezebel easily succeeds in her cunning idolatry by exalting pastors—puffing them up, putting them on a pedestal, or giving them the honor God should have. She also does this by luring them to do the things of the world, and by introducing doctrines and principles that sound godly but come from the world's system.
