Dr. Joyce Dorsey is the President and CEO of the Fulton Atlanta Community Action Authority (FACAA), a nonprofit agency that assists low-income individuals in the city of Atlanta and Fulton County achieve self-sufficiency through the planning, coordination, evaluation and administration of Community Action Programs. Dr. Dorsey is a native of Brooklyn, but was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a Bachelor's degree in sociology from Spelman College and a Master's degree in social work from Atlanta University. She recently earned her Doctorate in Biblical Studies from North Carolina's College of Theology (Atlanta's Greater Deliverance satellite campus).
