Lessons and Carols~

I am sitting in my living room with my wife, listening to the rain beyond the windows, and to the live Service from Cambridge England at King's College of the Nine Lessons and Carols, that is offered each year on Christmas Eve, as a retelling of the story of the Birth of Jesus Christ, and the reason for His entry into this world. 

This is an awe inpiritng event that we have been a part of for years. The readings and the music remind me of why we are here, and why Spirit of Truth Ministry exists. Jesus was born as The Truth, not only in His person as a human being, but also as the Word Made Flesh, that dwelt among us. It is easy to simply say "I Believe", but what is much more difficult is to KNOW what is the Truth, and be able to articulate it to those others that are seeking its True Light.

We are all in need of the one and only Truth that was brought from heaven to earth by the very Son of God, jesus the Christ. Make this Christmas season a recommitment to the knowing and the understanding of the Truth of the Life Road, and how we can gain eternal life by abiding in these words that Jesus brought to us.
