Co-Dependancy~ Who comes first your spouse or ur children, what is ur lifestyle teaching ur chil

With so many blended families now a days, how does one go into all the aspects of it? Are you so wrapped up in your partner that you neglect your children? What example are you teaching your children by how you and your spouse interact. When do you introduce your new partner to your children? what role does your new partner play in your children lives? Do your children come before your partner or does your partner come first? Whether they are the biological parent or not, does it matter either way? Do you allow your children to run over a new partner with no consequences, or do you set the rules to demand respect? How do you get respect from your partners children if he/she doesn't enforce it is necessary?
