The Bodacious Woman Movement Presents: The Women's Round Table

This week's topic: Are You Being Catfished: How Do We Decipher Lovers from Liars?

A catfish is someone who pretends to be someone else through some type of Social Media. This person completely assumes a fake identity and goes the extra mile to make their victim believe that they are exactly who they say they are.

Catfish victims usually end up falling in love with a person that does not exist. For example, a woman may think she is in love with a male model type and in actuality it is a teenage girl behind that computer screen.

Have you or anyone you know been catfished?

The Bodacious Woman Movement was created to promote, honor, and encourage the celebration of womanhood. Consistently, women have fought against all odds to survive, raise families, and pushed to bring about impactful changes in our communities- while making many sacrifices that go unknown and unrecognized. This movement will recognize women who have risen above social and cultural practices, women that are overcoming barriers to achieve a breakthroughs, and most importantly honoring the need for self care and cultivation.
