SISFI hosts 5 part series on “The Human Impacts of Workplace Bullying” on SISFI Radio to highlight the real challenges (physical, emotional, financial, societal, family, behavioral) faced by victims on various levels and aspects of their lives, and to raise the levels of education, awareness and availability of and need for more resources for them. The series also focus on the impediments, bias and broken corporate policies and judicial system that continues to allow the cycle of abuse in workplaces because the laws do not effectively address the topic of “abusive conducts” for victims to have the protection, safe haven and fear from retribution for speaking out on their behalf against their abuser.

The series runs through March and April focusing on the ripple effects on family and friends of the victims as well as on existing and new legislations in effect to provide updates and developments on them across the US. Guest speakers includes advocates, victims, legal counsel and legislators across the US who are fighting to pass legislation for the Healthy Workplace Bills and corporate policies to put an end to this kind of abuse and behavior.

The 5 parts are scheduled as followed:

  • March 10th, 8pm, pt. 1 ~ Introduction to Workplace Abuse/Bullying
  • March 17th, 8pm, pt. 2 ~ The Criminality and Victimology of Workplace Abuse
  • March 26th, 8pm, pt. 3 ~ The Victim, A look at the life of and struggles dealing with Workplace Abuse
  • March 31st, 8pm, pt. 4 ~ The Laws and Legalities of Workplace Abuse
  • April 7th, 8pm, pt. 5 ~ How to handle Abuse in the Workplace, prevention and documentation

The series wraps up with the "Workplace Abuse Victimology Empowerment Summit“ on April 22nd, 1-4pm. We are hosting the summit online due to the active involvement, interest and accessibility for a national collaborative.
