SISFI's Bullying Radio Talk Show every 2nd Tuesday at 2pm

This show is for us to come together to discuss the bullying issues, how they are affecting us, what we are doing about them and the solutions we are providing/recommending to mitigate them. We will provide the knowledge, resources, awareness and guidance to help in addressing these issues in our communities for all. Bullying is a societal problem that will take a societal approach of unification, support, networking and resources from all to manage and be effective. Special guest speakers who are experts in these issues will be with us to help in addressing the challenges. Some topics of discussion: - The mental, psychological, emotional and physical impacts - SISFI/TITSSN's IRRAMS ~Incident Reporting, Response, Alerting and Management System~ - Parents—understanding the impact of the internet/technology in bullying cases - What tools and resources are available for managing/monitoring and setting internet usage policies and rules in the homes, schools and workplaces - Educating parents to step up to the challenges of effective internet/technology uses and values. - Educating the educators on today’s technology trends, resources and pervasiveness. - Working with the PTA and getting them on board with the community efforts. - Managing and protecting your online presence/identity/brand - Understanding your Privacy laws - Managing/Monitoring the use of the internet/technology in/out of the home. - PC/Internet Security guidance, best practices for all - Is there any help for you in handling these issues? - Cyberstalking and how it relates to bullying. - When to work with the school and authorities on the acts of bullying. - How mobile devices add to the severity and simplicity of bullying - Social Networking and its impacts/effects on bullying - Why is bullying such an issue and a risk in this new era.
