Faith is when we close our eyes and open our hearts...to be vulnerable, to surrender, to trust as we lean back into the arms of grace and God.
Today we dive deeper into the Spoken Word for February... love. Reflecting on the experience of giving and receiving love we are reminded of this gift in the words of Lao Tzu: "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." Our human experience of love is an opportunity to touch the divine nature of our very being. The very act of loving and being loved is a life giving, sacred experience offering a glimpse of divine love animating life itself. We pause to reflect on our relationships with one another and the One who created us all. Our connection sustains us.
The moment faith becomes a reality in our vision, we begin to see the invisible, believe the impossible, and do the incredible...breathing grace into our hearts and our very being.
