Day Five - Surge on Soaps After the CBS finale of ATWT

It's here. The day we dreaded. But it isn't the end. It's the beginning. Surge on Soaps Week comes to a close with the final plans arranged for Monday's Nationwide ATWT fan Rally. We want all soap fans to join together. We only have one life to live as the world turns and tonight we'll discover that guiding light to lead us out of the dark shadows! Let's talk about the CBS finale. And let's celebrate soap opera!

Why are we doing this? It's simple:

The Save Our Soaps folks have banded together to have a rally at CBS Studios in NYC on September 20th. Other fans who can’t make it to New York have expressed interest in having simultaneous rallies at local CBS affiliates including Boston, Phoenix, Vermont and Texas! Tonight we'll catch up on the grass roots effort and share ideas on how to make Surge on Soaps Week a media story by week's end.

Tonight we air at a special time - 10 PM Eastern. If you host a soap themed BlogTalkRadio Show, we want you to get involved. We've got to band together to make a point. We're all about leaving egos at the door and coming to a consensus that props up what the pundits say is a"dying genre". If you are a die hard soap fan, a soap blogger or (again) a radio host.
