To be fair, Julie Posey created and wore a half-OSU, half-OU shirt to the game between her two sons Julian and DeVier when they played the "Posey Bowl" in college. Now that jersey will be half-New York Jets (Julian's team), half Houston Texans (DeVier's new team.) It was a rare occasion that Posey got to see the younger Ohio State standout DeVier take on his older, talented brother Julian of Ohio University. She cheered them both on and enjoyed the natural rivalry. DeVier stole his brother's towel and more after Julian told him that he needed to lift some weights. The proud mother was beaming and dinner that night was awesome.
Now, we'll talk to Julie about having two sons in the NFL. The experiences have been vastly different. What's she looking forward to most as they continue their careers? How does the NFL limelight effect the other siblings and change family dynamics? How did the widowed mother of four make it all work - especially during the tough 2011 season that began with DeVier suspended along with four other OSU players, changing the landscape of the entire season.
