More than 50 women have finally come forward saying Bill Cosby sexually violated them. Why did it take so many years for these women, many successful and accomplished in their own right, to find their voices and speak up and out?
Is it because many women, even in the 21st Century, still don't feel it's safe to speak to their minds, to tell their truths, to upset the applecart especially when the accused is a powerful man?
I'm a woman. A lawyer, author of 3 books, editor of 3 dozens books, coach and speaker and I know personally how difficult it can be to honor, speak, and live my truth.
What about you, have you found your voice? Do you feel like a full grown woman or still like a little girl most times?
Let's talk about what it means to be a woman, an empowered woman on She Struts Radio, Thursday, January 21, 6:30pm ET/5:30pm CT.
Joining me in what I know will be a powerful, provocative conversation is my friend Janine A. Ingram. Janine is the author of Born to Be Rich (voted inspirtional book of the year), a Life Coach, Radio Personality, Visionary and Speaker. You may reach Janine at: Ingram_Janine@yahoo.com
