Discussion About Prisoners And The Lack of Appropriate Legal Representation

Greetings everyone.  I am Leonna Abraham Brandao, Prisoner Advocate and Host for Blogtalk Radio Shedding Light. 

Today we have on with us, a Guest whom many of us are getting to know as a true Warrior and Advocate for the incarcerated, as well as for advocating for and assisting members in the communities.

Let’s Welcome Nancy Roberts once again.  At our last Interview session on Blogtalk Radio, we discussed having an ongoing episode discussing issues around the lack of legal counsel for prisoners based on indigency, poor legal reresentation, biased and/or one-sided opinionated media reporting, lack of media oversight in prison issues pertaining to prison abuses, deprivation, medical and psychological neglect, prison and parole reform. In addition, Nancy will be updating  us on recent events in the community and in the penal system. We welcome anyone who would like to be interviewed at a later time around some of these issues to call in.
